BEST Sun Umbrella Out There!

I rarely will forget my UV umbrella at home, but have a backup "normal" umbrella in my car and there is SUCH A DIFFERENCE when using this UV umbrella compared to a non-UV umbrella. It almost feels like I have NO sun protection when using the non-UV umbrella- I see the light streaming through and feel the HEAT. It really is 15 degrees cooler under this umbrella! I love this umbrella and live in FL. I use it EVERY TIME I am outside - from walking the dog, to getting in and out of the car from my office building - to grocery shopping, etc. I even attended a wedding and participated in the outdoor photo portion. I used my umbrella for standing around when I wasn't in the shots.
I felt a little silly standing under the umbrella (made sure to point the big UV logo so people could read it though) , but when I had my visit to the dermatologist last week for my yearly skin cancer screening - my doctor was so impressed with my lack of tan lines and he didn't have to take ANY biopsies! As a skin cancer survivor, I can tell you that I LOVE this umbrella and won't be without it. Oh, I also have Melasma and don't have to worry about that either with the umbrella. I hate the feeling of sunscreen (greasy) so this is a much better alternative to me as it covers my arms and up. (I never wear shorts). I can't say enough about this umbrella and am so glad I found your website! :-)

Simply Indispensable

I live in Rio de Janeiro and I'm extremely happy with my new UV Protection Travel Umbrella.This is my first summer with my new umbrella and although my skin is not too light I have a tendency to get brown spots (melasma) so I use my umbrella everyday at lunch time when I go out to get something to eat. By the envy looks I've been getting because of my "private shade" I think these umbrellas will become trendy in no time down here!

Great Travel Umbrella!

I bought this parasol/umbrella because in Southern California, the sun is an ever-present friend and foe. The tree canopy is sparse and sometimes, shade is very sparse or non-existent. I am of fair complexion, a skin cancer patient and am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Sun exposure is absolutely not desirable in conjunction with chemotherapy and radiation, so I purchased both the travel umbrella and the beach umbrella. I took the travel umbrella with me on a trip to Puget Sound and sat at a 4th of July parade in comfort while others around me were roasting. In fact, I was able to shelter myself and my adult daughter in its ample shade. I received MANY, MANY envious and favorable comments. This product telescopes down when not in use and also has a wrist strap. I use it on daily walks around my neighborhood. I feel that with the UV-Blocker, I am able to be outdoors during the day whenever I want.

I am highly sensitive to the sun. Yesterday, we spent the entire day at The Bronx Zoo - I with my new umbrella and the rest of my family clamoring to get under it because it truly reduced the ambient temperature by at least 15 degrees besides providing excellent sun protection. This product is definitely on my "best purchases ever made" list.

Best Umbrella EVER!

All the descriptions about this umbrella are so true! Its great and it really protects you from the uv rays of the sun. I have bought one for me, my sister and my mom. This umbrella came great for my mom who recently got skin cancer. It really does protect you! I recommend it to everyone! You won’t regret spending the money.
