This was a gift purchased for our daughter who has had at least one session with skin cancer and requested it to protect her skin. I must say we have used one of these previously and they are not good on a very windy beach area. I think the UV protection material helps to hold in the wind and cause it to be even more flight prone in the wind.

We got this as a wedding present and decided to bring it with us on our honeymoon in Florida. Carrying it to the beach, the umbrella made a hole in the bag and it fell out onto the busy street we were crossing..nice. Then during set up, my finger got pinched trying to set it up, strike two. Finally, when it's all said and done, the sand anchor thingy is made out of plastic and it broke as my hubby was trying to insert it into the sand. Not a very good product, go with someone else!

We bought one about 3 years ago and this product is as advertised. High Quality, Wind Resistant makes this product a no brainer for outdoor living. We will buy a second one for guests at the beach this summer.

Received one as a gift and brought it to the beach with me thinking I'd get sun n' fun. NOT!! Would not stay in the sand! Everytime I put it up it fell over almost hitting my son in the face. It does not stand up to the wind either. There was a slight breeze and it kept lifting it up and falling over. Totally false advertising. Also, the flappy thing at the end of the canopy kept making a whipping noise when the wind blows, really annoying. I would suggest getting a beach umbrella without out if you want peace and quiet. I emailed them to see if I can get a refund but an error message keeps popping up. Totally unreliable company and bad quality umbrella. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

UV sun block umbrellas are very useful to the islanders. Although most are already tanned and wish not to get any darker. We use the UV to help protect us from sun burns. Because we are close to the equator the sun is out most of the time. We use this in our Liberation Parades because of the long lasted hours we spend watching this annual event. On the weekends family love to travel and especially hit the beach for some relaxation, sun tanning and of course. The Great Bar-B-Cues that we are known for. Don't leave home without this because it's going to come in very handy in just about any kind of weather.

We saw one of these on the beach in Asbury Park, NJ. I was dissatisfied with our previous umbrella and thought this one looked well made. My thought was correct! We recently purchased one and have used it a couple of times. It is well made and well designed. When I sit under it, I notice the difference in it keeping me cooler than previous umbrellas. If anyone is looking for a beach umbrella, this is a excellent choice!

I can't believe how great the UV beach umbrella works - it keeps out so much of the sun the temparature under the umbrella is actually cooler! This umbrella is a must-have for anyone serious about protecting themselves from the suns deadly rays.

With two young children under the age of three, I'm always concerned about keeping them safe from harm. The UV-Blocker umbrella really protects them from the sun while they're there napping on the beach. This is a wonderful thing! Now I can stay out on the beach longer and not have to worry about carrying them, and all our beach gear, back to our hotel room for nap time.
