In preparation for our three week trip to China we purchased three compact umbrella's. With the 36-41d celsius heat we faced everyday, these umbrellas were simply the difference between comfort and absolute misery. A baseball or sun hat wass simply not enough. We were never sunburned or over heated due to exposure, and spent many hours walking on hot pavement or in direct sun. These umbrellas were the best and smartest purchases we made for our trip. Highly recommended. Note: using an umbrella for shade is a common sight in Asia - my wife's previous trips gave her the inclination to purchase our own. a bit of research led us to conclude uv-blocker.com had the best product at the best price...very glad we got ours.

I am so glad to have found these UV Umbrellas! The pricing is great and affordable! If you cared how the harmful UV rays is affecting your body then it is highly recommended to protect yourself at all cost! People looked at you funny when they see you carrying a Umbrella but they don't understand this is not just any Umbrella. . Wearing a hat and using Sunscreen will not give you 100% protection from the harmful UV rays. These UV Umbrella has been a god sent!

I purchased the compact umbrella about 1 year ago and I love it! It's the perfect size to take anywhere and the tote bag keeps it in perfect condition. I have melasma and this has helped me enjoy the summer like never before. I took it to Disney World (FL)last September and although it was an attention getter I know many people wished they had one because it was SO HOT and SUNNY. I love these products and will continue to use as long as the sun shines! Thank you!

Six months ago I developed a skin condition called Melasma. It is an excess of pigmentation spattered around the face in brown patches. Any amount of UV light, even a very small amount, can exacerbate the condition...be glad you're not me. I take every necessary precaution: sun block, hydrocoquin, sunglasses, basically living in the dark, etc. I bought my UV Blocker Umbrella in hopes that it will help in addition to the steps I have already taken to keep my skin looking normal. As I said...time will tell.

I really appreciate your quick shipment of our three umbrellas for our trip to Mexico. It was a scorching hot 93-98 degrees with relentless sun daily. Your UV-Blocker umbrellas performed flawlessly for sun protection and even in high winds they were very resistant to snapping backwards. In the few times that they did, the strong umbrellas popped right back into shape without any damage. I was amazed at how convenient and quickly we could open and close the umbrellas as needed and how small they were to carry when closed. I was also very impressed with how much cooler you feel when standing under them in direct sun. They also worked well in the rain.
After an extremely hot afternoon at Chichen Itza, where most tourists leave sunburned, I had absolutely no sun exposure. We pulled up to the toll station on the way back to Cancun and a Mexican tourist department employee came up to the car to give us a free map. When I told him we had spent the afternoon at the Chichen Itza pyramid, he exclaimed "How come you are not all red." I said, "let me show you right now," and stepped out of my car, popped the trunk and opened my UV-Blocker umbrella and stood under it like a shade tree. He stood there grinning ear to ear!
I want to thank you for manufacturing a very high quality product and selling it to us for truly a reasonable price. I have enclosed a couple of images to verify my testimony. Any redness in my face in the photo was from the 98 degree raw heat because I was wearing an unnecessary hat. Once I threw it away, the redness disappeared and after 4 days in the sun, I never sunburned one bit!

I tested this umbrella out in the hot sun of summer in Los Angeles and I could tell the difference with and without by far. I also purchased some of these for some ladies of my church and they love them. They are light weight compact and helps keep them cool.
Great product. The only request I was given is to try to get them in another color other than grey.

I'm very sensitive to the sun, so I've been searching for a durable UV-blocking umbrella for protection from the blistering summers we have in the desert. ... and I've found it with the UV-blocker compact umbrella. It has worked well for me so far. It's well made and sturdy.

I am so glad that I found the Compact Umbrella. I never know when I will need it, so I keep it with me at all times. Love the way it opens and closes so easily. The service was great, and calls were returned to me immediately. I received it in just a couple of days and have absolutely no complaints. I wish I'd had one of these umbrellas sooner. I have the compact umbrella. It's light weight for carrying yet large enough to cover me when I'm out in the sun. I had some trouble initially when closing it, but I figured out how to close it by pushing up on the handle while pressing down on the top end. I couldn't have bought this at a better time: in the middle of a drought and triple digit full sun days!

I am highly sensitive to the sun. Yesterday, we spent the entire day at The Bronx Zoo - I with my new umbrella and the rest of my family clamoring to get under it because it truly reduced the ambient temperature by at least 10 degrees besides providing excellent sun protection. This product is definitely on my "best purchases ever made" list.

As I am sensitive to light, this is a life saver. I tried wearing hooded sweatshirts and hats. Now, it is way too hot for that in the summer heat. This is way more effective. Also, this umbrella is super light weight, making it easy to carry around anywhere.

I bought this because the sun in Alabama is painfully bright and painful to the skin when it is beating down on me. The heat also aggravates my asthma. I will not go out without my sun umbrella or at least something that will shield me from the sun. I'm 5ft tall and it covers me with shade down to about my elbows. Its much cooler under there. It withstands slight to moderate wind through the underside. When the wind blows the other side, it seems to catch the wind in a way, pushing me in the direction of the wind. I weigh about 113lbs. Someone else may have better resistance. The umbrella fits in my purse and is lightweight, opens easily and and closes easily. I get stares from people who don't have a clue about sun umbrellas. I've gotten a couple of compliments from passersby as well. I like how it says UV-blocker on the side to show (those who know what a UV is) that its indeed a sun umbrella and that I am not expecting rain from a cloudless sky. Its a great value. I'd suggest it to all your friends and family. I cant think of anything negative other than the fact that it takes some effort to wrap up with the velcro strap. The windproof construction and the thicker material make it "fatter". Its a minor bother. The good heavily outweighs the bad. If I lost it, I would get another one asap.

Just purchased this umbrella and love it! Perfect for one person. Very durable and well made. One reason I purchased was the auto open & close feature and durability. Once you have an auto open & close umbrella, you don`t want any other. You can really feel the protection from the sun!

I got this item for my wife whom is very sensitive to sunlight. She had one from Australia we purchased a number of years ago thru the internet. It has finally started to wear out and we needed a new one.
After extensive on line research we decided on the compact one. The order was promptly addressed and delivery was quite fast even for cross country.
When it arrived in excellent shape, I saw the frown on my wife's face. She liked the design of the umbrella cover, but didn't like the weight of it and said she would have trouble holding it for long periods. Her old one was much lighter.
Now I PERSONALLY liked it and the weight didn't matter to me, so I am electing to keep this one for me. Now I must keep shopping for a lighter one for my wife, who is a bit more demanding than myself
