Great item for the island! Living in Hawaii where the daily UV rating is always above 11 or 12 this product is a must have. I want to enjoy being outside enjoying the sun, but without the damage to my skin. I also take medication that require I limit my exposure to sunlight, and finding this item has been a GOD send. I am surprised that I cxould not find these items locally. If you want start a store here, call me I would love to work with you.

I purchased this umbrella with intentions of using it when I play golf. Being used to a golf size umbrella I was a tad disappointed at the size. However, it is a travel umbrella and I do like the carry sleeve feature. I use it when I walk my dog. I have decided to purchase the golf umbrella therefore affording me much more protection from the sun.

After using the UV Blocker Travel Umbrella on our outdoors vacation to Yosemite, we were driving home and I used it in the car. Yep! It opens up comfortably in the front seat of the van to block the heat from the sun shining on me. It also was safe because it was not blocking any visual spots for the driver. Having the UV Blocker Travel Umbrella opened in the car on my lap saved me from what would have been a frustrating ride for a few hours trying to keep the sun off me with every turn of the road.

This umbrella really served us well on our recent trip to China during the peak of the summer season. It was over 100 degrees every day. All my friends commented on how stylish it is and I even had to leave my umbrella with my sister-in-law at the end of my trip because she liked it so much. And, I promised other friends that I will get more for them as gifts.
In addition, I must thank the customer service department who went out of their way to get an umbrella to me in time for my trip.

I was thrilled to have received my UV Travel Umbrella just before I left for vacation. I used it every day and had a lot of very positive comments from people who thought that it was "such a smart idea". Back at home, I take it whenever I go out. It seems to stand up well on windy days......if I could change one thing it would be to make it a little less bulky when folded. Shipment was super fast, customer service was AAAAAA++++++++ (I had difficulty opening the umbrella when I first got it-someone got back to me withing 5 minutes and all was well). A fabulous company to deal with. Highly recommend this product.

I wish to thank your company for the well-made and well-designed UV-Blocker umbrellas which I received. My order arrived promptly, in time for my recent trip to Florida. I did not incur any sunburn while on vacation, utilizing sunscreen lotion and your umbrella. I was very pleased at the heavy-duty quality of construction apparent in your umbrella.
The "travel size" is a perfect size for short-term protection while providing easy carry. The "travel size" doesn't hang up
in car doors or pose a hazard jabbing people or walls in close quarters. I am impressed enough with your product to
recommend your umbrellas to my friends, as well as purchase more in the future, as gifts. I also plan to keep some on hand in various locations, in cars and around the house, where exposure to the sun is probable or unavoidable.

It really does a great job keeping me cool underneath it and at reflecting the suns rays. My only issue is that when it's sunny but very windy. The Umbrella does not stand well against the wind. It has a tendency when the wind picks up to turn inside out, but does fold back again. It's not as Wind resistant as I would like it to be during a Sunny and Windy NYC spring day. But in the summer when there is no wind at all but just lots of Sun......It is excellent.

I love this umbrella. My husband thought it was a little silly for me to buy it, but I use it all the time! I'm a stay at home with a new baby and a toddler. We go on walks a lot and to the park a lot. I use sunscreen on my toddler but my baby is too little for that. Yesterday, our mom group had to meet outside as opposed to indoors, and I was the only one prepared with UV protection for my baby. Thank you!! I love this umbrella!

Just wanted to let you know how much I love my UV Blocker umbrella. I live in Puerto Rico, and I use it locally on sunny days. I am trying to prevent some sun spots on my face from worsening. The umbrella works really well, is not heavy to carry around, and holds up very well in the wind. . It is a real skin saver! Having had radiation treatments I’ve been told that I have no natural resistance to the sun’s UV rays. So it is very important for me to stay out of the sun, which is somewhat difficult in the summer here where the sun and heat are extreme. I’ve been using my travel umbrella for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. Today it was very windy and not once did I have to struggle to keep it from inverting. The wind vent is genius and did I mention awesome. My old golf umbrella was always turning inside out. I’m still waiting for delivery of the UV golf umbrella but I have a feeling that my summer won’t be as stressful this year. I think this product is the best find I’ve had in years and wish I’d known about it when I first moved here. Very impressed with the quality and would recommend it to everyone.

I have very fair skin and have had many sun burns over the years from lack of proper sun protection. Now with 2 bouts of skin cancer behind me I have been afraid to do things that require being in the sun, even with sun block, hats and skin covering clothing. I have carried regular rain umbrellas, but it seemed like the sun was still getting through that material. With my new UV Treated Umbrellas these concerns are over. I use it everyday, even for my walks on the beach. I am very pleased with these purchases, the quality, the price and the quick delivery. I also bought the Beach Umbrella as well. Now I can enjoy the outdoors again, safely. Thank you for offering such great products.

I love this umbrella. I do a lot of walking and it really does keep me cooler. It's wide enough to cover my body and comfortable to hold. I was disappointed when I realized it doesn't close automatically but it's very easy to close anyway.

I have three UV Blocker umbrellas. That is how much I love them. I keep one in each of my vehicles so I will always have one on hand when I need protection from the suns rays. I am always out in the sun because I do a lot of walking, and they really do keep me cooler.
My daughter and her two children just went on vacation to Disneyland in Southern CA, and it is always sunny and hot there this time of year. She borrowed my UV umbrellas for protection and she loved them. Guess I will have to order some for them.
I had a problem with the push open button on one of the umbrellas. I returned it to you and you immediately replaced it.

As a Correctional Officer in the state of Florida my duties place me on the Rec Yard everyday. Needless the say the sunshine in Florida is wonderful but it is also hot and very humid. From the moment I opened my UV-Blocker Travel Umbrella the difference was amazing!!! It provides the right amount of shade without affecting my ability to maintain complete security coverage. The at least 10 degree drop in temperature is very noticeable even on humid days. The compact and sturdy design makes it easy for me to collapse when not needed and the wrist strap keeps it in my control at all times. It is perfect!!! I HIGHLY recommend this umbrella to anyone who spends a lot of time in the sun, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making a UV protection umbrella that works, and then some. I only wish I,d discovered it 16 years ago!!!

I bought this parasol/umbrella because in Southern California, the sun is an ever-present friend and foe. The tree canopy is sparse and sometimes, shade is very sparse or non-existent. I am of fair complexion, a skin cancer patient and am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Sun exposure is absolutely not desirable in conjunction with chemotherapy and radiation, so I purchased both the travel umbrella and the beach umbrella.
I took the travel umbrella with me on a trip to Puget Sound and sat at a 4th of July parade in comfort while others around me were roasting. In fact, I was able to shelter myself and my adult daughter in its ample shade. I received MANY, MANY envious and favorable comments. This product telescopes down when not in use and also has a wrist strap.
I use it on daily walks around my neighborhood. I feel that with the UV-Blocker, I am able to be outdoors during the day whenever I want.

our first UV umbrella would invert in modest wind, and the material wasn't nearly as thick as the UV-Blocker. this travel size one is sturdier than we anticipated and feels solid while in use - the double canopy works really well. Folded up, the umbrella uses two velco straps to secure it, due to its heft. definitely great sun protection, and build quality that justifies it's price.

I've tried this umbrella in wind and it stands up well, better than I expected. The wide canopy is great for staying in the shade. I'd prefer if the umbrella were a dark color on the outside and silver on the inside and blocked all the sun, but this one is good.
As for being big and heavy, being so strong and wide, it's just the price you have to pay for an umbrella that won't break and will shade your entire body.
