I just received my compact UV Blocker and I just wanted to say I love it! I live in Colorado where we have about 300 sunny days. This is exactly what I need to keep in the car and always have available. The handle is comfortable in my hand (have hand problems), it’s lightweight and easy to operate, fits in a purse or tote for traveling and has a great length to hold on to. It even is lined in my favorite color, blue, when others are black! A very top quality UV umbrella for the price, look no further!

I have used now for two weeks, and in the heat of the Capitol area, it is like having my own tree. Since I got the umbrella, I can eliminate the sunhat that I wore continuously, AND it handles high winds. I really enjoy my walks "in the shade."

This is the greatest umbrella. I went on vacation to Orlando for 4 hot days (110 degree heat index). I used sunscreen, but not regularly, and I never burned at all. I am a very pale, light haired, blue eyed type that normally can't handle being in the sun for very long without burning. Normally, on vacations, my family has to spend a lot of time without me, as they all tolerate the sun much better than I do. But on this vacation, we all got to be together the entire day, every day. It was a much more fun experience for all of us. This umbrella is push button open and push button close. When the umbrella closes, it's stem is still long. In order to open it again, one has to push the top of the umbrella down into the handle. I found this a bit awkward and difficult for me to accomplish, because we were constantly going in and out of rides and exhibits. But it kept me cooler and sun free for the entire day!

I highly recommend this umbrella especially in Hawaii. I have used a lot of umbrellas before but no one can level to this one. "BEST Sun Umbrella Out There!"

I rarely will forget my UV umbrella at home, but have a back up "normal" umbrella in my car and there is SUCH A DIFFERENCE when using this UV umbrella compared to a non-UV umbrella. It almost feels like I have NO sun protection when using the non-UV umbrella- I see the light streaming through and feel the HEAT. It really is 10 degrees cooler under this umbrella! I love this umbrella and live in FL. I use it EVERY TIME I am outside - from walking the dog, to getting in and out of the car from my office building - to grocery shopping, etc. I even attended a wedding and participated in the outdoor photo portion. I used my umbrella for standing around when I wasn't in the shots. I felt a little silly standing under the umbrella (made sure to point the big UV logo so people could read it though) , but when I had my visit to the dermatologist last week for my yearly skin cancer screening - my doctor was so impressed with my lack of tan lines and he didn't have to take ANY biopsies! As a skin cancer survivor, I can tell you that I LOVE this umbrella and won't be without it. Oh, I also have Melasma and don't have to worry about that either with the umbrella. I hate the feeling of sunscreen (greasy) so this is a much better alternative to me as it covers my arms and up. (I never wear shorts). I can't say enough about this umbrella and am so glad I found your website! :-)

"Performance Exceeded my Expectations!"

In preparation for our three week trip to China we purchased three compact umbrella's. With the 36-41 degrees Celsius heat we faced everyday, these umbrellas were simply the difference between comfort and absolute misery. A baseball or sun hat wass simply not enough. We were never sunburned or over heated due to exposure, and spent many hours walking on hot pavement or in direct sun. These umbrellas were the best and smartest purchases we made for our trip. "All around perfect umbrella for me"

I bought this because the sun in Alabama is painfully bright and painful to the skin when it is beating down on me. The heat also aggravates my asthma. I will not go out without my sun umbrella or at least something that will shield me from the sun. I'm 5ft tall and it covers me with shade down to about my elbows. Its much cooler under there. It withstands slight to moderate wind through the underside. When the wind blows the other side, it seems to catch the wind in a way, pushing me in the direction of the wind. I weigh about 113lbs. Someone else may have better resistance. The umbrella fits in my purse and is lightweight, opens easily and and closes easily. I get stares from people who don't have a clue about sun umbrellas. I've gotten a couple of compliments from passersby as well. I like how it says UV-blocker on the side to show (those who know what a UV is) that its indeed a sun umbrella and that I am not expecting rain from a cloudless sky. Its a great value. I'd suggest it to all your friends and family. I can’t think of anything negative...
